Biomyself in a nutshell; i'm trevor, i'm 18 and i'm basically living life. i don't expect much, nor do i attempt to be anything but myself, which is a lot more than most people can say. i write and listen to music, a LOT. i aspire to travel the world, open my eyes to the unknown, lose myself, rise from my own ashes and essentially become a new person. i have goals, i achieve them. i have standards for myself, i keep them. i have a dream, i follow it. i'm very open-minded, so i suggest you bring the same qualities. i like the simple things in life, though, i myself, am anything but simple. check out my work, i'd love to hear some good stuff about my poetry, considering i'm extremely new to writing it.
NOTE: please, don't come onto my page and start ripping apart my work with poetic devices with strict rules and such, i write simply to release burdened feelings, that's all. i'm not here to impress anyone or win any sort of award, any comments should be based on the general point of my piece or anything you liked, not on how this idea is an abstraction and how many syllables each line contains per stanza. to me, poetry isn't about that, it's truly about what you write, what it means, not how it looks on paper or what rules it abides by. thank you for your consideration. :)
